Ammobium alatum is a beautiful perennial ( in harsh frosty conditions it is best treated as an annual), with silvery foliage and abundant papery white flowers with large golden, contrasting centres. Creates a lovely native wildflower meadow. Is great as a cut or dried flower and is a food source for the painted lady butterfly
