Kniphofia citrina forms a rosette of long, narrow, linear leaves that are typically green to bluish-green in color.  It's striking tubular flowers are yellow (sometimes have orange or red tints towards the tips) and arranged in dense cylindrical spikes.  Attractive to a variety of birds and bees.
