Lamium orvala is a herbaceous perennial forming a neat clump of large, heart-shaped, solid green, 15 cm leaves. It has hooded, pink to purple flowers in whorls around the upper leaf axils. The flowers open from purple-pink buds, and it may continue to bloom sporadically into Autumn.
