Omphalodes cappadocica also known as creeping-forget-me-not, is a bushy, evergreen, tufted perennial, spreading by creeping rhizomes. It has slightly hairy, heart-shaped,  leaves forming a basal clump. From which rises the flowering stalks with racemes of forget-me-not-like flowers which are blue to purple-blue with white eyes giving the flower a starry effect.
